Ephemera – exquisite physical typography by Bogidar Mascareñas

My close friend, my roommate when I lived in Barcelona, Bogidar Mascareñas, just published one of the best projects I have seen anyone produce in a long time. I am absolutely floored by the craftsmanship and the amount of work he put into this stunning collection.

Ephemera, Bogi describes: This conceptual project is based in 4 series of ephemeral posters and their process of destruction. Este proyecto conceptual está basado en 4 series de pósters efímeros y su proceso de destrucción.

He also built a pristine, hand-sewn book to illustrate the process of these exquisite experiments. I rarely post work designed by my friends, but this one is very deserving. (By the way, having gone to RISD and Elisava, all of my friends are extraordinarily talented)

I’m only showing you finished products here but there are more pictures of finished posters and process (quite interesting and involved) on his Behance profile. (it’s also quite familiar to see the Taller (workshop) and the apartment where I spent so much of my life).
