fonts in use

So ever since I was going through all my sans serif typefaces to pick one for my degree project, and I noticed the lowercase f and k looked familiar in the typeface Klavika, and suddenly realized why I recognized it (facebook logo!), I’ve been thinking about identifying typefaces from things we see all the time. Then I remembered about this cool site, fonts in use, whose mission it is to point out which typefaces are used on things! Thought I’d share. They have a pretty cool interface, nice big pictures, a bit of history, and links to just about everything. Go check it out!
