excellently useless

Better Living Through Design is one of those sites I love because everything on it is beautiful and exciting, but mostly, it’s useless overly-designed junk. :) It’s like our utopia, if we were able to design the perfect design-nerdy house, this is all the type of stuff we’d fill it with. This sofa and matching carpet, designed by Ron Arad, definitely speak to that glorious modularity and desire for a perfectly controlled (impractical) minimal living space (oops, I mean museum). So if you have that perfect, giant, white house and no worldly possessions to clutter up your space, go ahead and splurge on this colorblocking set! As for me, I’ll just keep building it in my mind. :)
