El Tigre

Winsor & Newton, forever the brand designers trust. (I probably spent $300 on gouache the semester I took Color at RISD). Now I just use their ink.

Book: Minimalism and Typography

I also finished my book about minimalism and typography. Featuring five essays from three revolutionary typographers of the last century, El Lissitzky, Dan Friedman, and Beatrice Warde. The fourth element to the book integrates the three typographers with my own interest, which is, naturally, minimalist industrial design, namely Dieter Rams. Check out the rest of the images on my website.

Stories from the Tsunami

Well, it took me 6 months to photograph the book I designed in Barcelona on my semester abroad last Spring. Typeset in Spanish and English with stories from the New York Times and images from National Geographic. I created a third chapter of typographical compositions to express my own feeling about what the people in Japan went through. Here are a few pictures, go to my website to look at the rest of the images.
