One more for maps today. Sorry, no source on these, just in my Pinterest feed. Cool idea though, I’d love to get a whole bunch of road maps from cities that are relevant to me, not arbitrary, and make a bunch. There’s just a certain aesthetic quality about them that is so luscious I want to make them!
John Breznicky has created a series of posters called Lineposters, city transit line posters, which, aside from being familiar, if he’s made your city, also have a nice relationship of space on the page. Also he has a pretty good sense of color. Worth the money if you like the colors available in your city! Go see what he’s got in his library. PS I’ve been in to maps lately can you tell?
