Wish I knew what this was for! This girl in the picture was one of my classmates at Elisava in Barcelona last spring. This is her profile picture, but she doesn’t have a website and there was no link next to it. I love the space in the room though! I’d love to have a room like this someday to just go sit and be.

Fred Eerdekens shadow art (read an article at Design Boom) is a nice mix of many media and techniques. A sculptor, a light and shadow artist, a typographer, and designer, Eerdekens’ work is on view right now at the Magda Danysz Gallery in Paris, France, beginning March 17, 2012. Obvs I’m not there, but if you are, go take a look! (admittedly, some of it is a bit to religious for me, but I still appreciate the craft)

My third clock and 1960s vintage Braun (working) hair dryer that I won on ebay finally arrived today (in separate boxes). I feel complete now. (No, not really, I still want a coffee maker and a BN0021 watch in ivory). Now I have all three of my time zones on my desk! To get your own, go to Braun Time.

I think this is going to be my 8″x8″ page in the year book. Any opinions? I have till Wednesday the 14th to make changes. They are putting our names on for us, so that we are consistent as a student body. Also, in the lower right hand corner, I plan to paste one of the following labels but I need help deciding whether to use the uppercase or the lowercase one. Please comment!
