Just found out about this. Not sure if I need one, because my site is coded from scratch, but this looks beautifully amazing. It’s called Square Space, and it’s a totally customizable platform to easily build a website. Watch the demo below. Maybe I’ll just make one for the hell of it. Based on the homepage, I bet their user interface is dreamy. Probably a lot better than any of the other site builders out there.

This is epic. A miniature cityscape made out of pieces of metal type! like letterpress olden-days awesomeness type! To quote Colossal, “Type City is a recent artwork by artist Hong Seon Jang that uses pieces of movable type from a printing press to create an elaborate cityscape. It’s fascinating to watch as the need for printed books and typography wanes, the unused objects themselves are more frequently used as an actual medium.”
It is a true beauty.

I understand the title, that’s for sure. Kinda makes you not want to eat pasta again. Or it makes you love pasta. either way. you decide. Bit of a departure from my usual, but I spent a lot of time on Colossal today, and that is, to use my new word, designvrything. I don’t know about you, but I laughed out loud when the T-rex got out of the bowl :)
