This is some beautiful letterpress work by One Plus One. They say about their project, “There are only 4 ingredients — Hard work, TLC, Trust and Creativity — and when mixed together in the proper measurements, the outcome can be superb.”

I was going to send this to my cousin, who’s been practicing her barista coffee foam art, but then I watched the Vimeo, and I decided it was worth sharing here. The artist talks about the ephemeral quality of his work, and the way he is designing for someone else, not himself, and a few other key points that resonate with me as a designer.
Make sure you watch this; it’s short and worth it! (you can see more images on Taxi.)
New York City-based barista and artist Mike Breach uses coffee as his medium and has created amazing portraits of well-known personalities on many a latte. (read more)

I’m feeling affectionate toward all my readers. Thank you so much for sticking with me for the last two years (almost). I love design, and I love sharing it. I also love when you all participate! When you comment on or like posts, it gives me a good idea of the kinds of things that interest you. One of the best parts about design is the discussion it can inspire. I hope you’ll all continue to be involved. I live and breathe design, so I hope you do too.
Best,
Becca
